A cozy farmhouse Christmas master bedroom…
Well my friends, the Christmas season is upon us and I couldn’t be more excited!
I swear, there is nothing cozier, more welcoming & more nostalgic than seeing your home all decked out for the holidays!
Even when your home looks like this, right?!
I mean really, what could be more cozy + welcoming than plywood floors, missing ceilings and electrical wires dangling from the roof? Ha!
But, I refuse to let all this stop me from bringing a little Christmas into our home!
Okay, so they’ll be no tree in our front window as I’d hoped and our dining room will certainly look nothing like it did last year…
But, I’m okay with that (well, sort of anyway).
There’s no doubt that Christmas around our home is going to look just a little bit different this year, but there’s definitely some silver lining to enjoy here (on top of our new kitchen + living room of course!)…
With two of our largest spaces completely out of commission, and boxes upon boxes of pretty Christmas decorations that I just can’t bear to leave all packed up through the holidays, I’m finding all sorts of new spaces to fill with Christmas cheer! Bathrooms, bedrooms, even the playroom – seriously, why hadn’t I thought of all this sooner?! And friends, I can’t wait to take you on a tour of a few of them (there’s also the more traditional family room and a front porch to look forward to)!
Today, I’m kicking our Christmas home tour season off with our farmhouse master bedroom space – just wait until you see how cozy it looks all decked out for the holidays!
I’m so excited to be teaming up with a fantastic group of bloggers to bring you all sorts of holiday bedroom decor inspiration today (who knew that was even a thing?!), and even better, they’ll be tackling all of the other rooms in your home, all throughout the week (find the links to everything at the end of this post)!
But first, our own cozy farmhouse Christmas master bedroom…
True to my neutral loving heart, I kept things simple + cozy by mixing warm whites with just a few pops of natural greens.
Our DIY faux fireplace has been decked out with some pretty vintage inspired mercury glass candles and beside it, an antique ladder with my DIY farmhouse style stockings…
All through these cold Winter months, bedtime is all about creating a warm + cozy nest. With soft flannel sheets, and layer upon layer of texture, our bed has never felt cozier!
Of course the other side of the room got a few cozy Christmas touches as well with some potted faux trees and this pretty DIY pom pom wreath.
Now, just in case all the photos weren’t enough, I’ve put together a quick video tour of the space too:
And you can find even more video room tours through this playlist on my YouTube channel.
Though it’s most definitely got some holiday touches, I’m most excited that so much of this cozy bedroom decor will transition seamlessly through the holidays, making our farmhouse bedroom feel cozy all Winter long!

Your bedroom fireplace totally makes up for having a house under-construction! It’s a beautiful space!
Awwww, well thank you Brittany!
Such a pretty space!!! It looks so cozy and welcoming. I love your mix of creams and whites and the little pop of mint green. Really pretty.

I would rip up our living room to have a bedroom decorated for Christmas like yours! So relaxing.
Hahaha! Well thank you Jeanette!
As per your usual, it’s ALL totally gorgeous! I love the way you used all the different wreaths, dressed up your mantel and don’t get even me started on that ladder with the stockings – gah, so pretty! I can’t wait to see the renovations all finished. I know they’re going to be amazing too. Hang in there, it will be worth it! Hugs, CoCo
You are always so sweet CoCo! Thank you so, so much my friend!

Even though you are living in a construction zone, by the looks of your gorgeous bedroom – you would NEVER know it! Cozy Christmas Bedroom doesn’t even begin to describe how truly beautiful and lovely your space really is. Totally cozy, warm and inviting. Such a beautiful space Kristi! Love all the cozy layers on your bed and the cute wreaths hanging with your sign.
Thank you so, so much Kristi!
I am so glad you are decorating what is not out of commission for Christmas. Your bedroom is beautiful and I adore your faux fireplace all decorated for Christmas.
Living under construction is super stressful (especially as a blogger!), but your bedroom is a beautiful retreat. I love the green accents and I have always loved that dresser. Looks great, Kristi!
Awwww, thank you so, so much! This was just what I needed to read as I look out past our kitchen table at the plywood floors and drywall dust all around me! Thank you Rachel!
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t envious of your beautiful bedroom mantel! I love how you’ve decked all your halls!
Oh my goodness, well thank you Emily! I’m so happy you love it as much as I do!
You did a beautiful job decorating your bedroom! I’m missing all your home tours this year with all the renos you have going on! lol. It’s probably actually nice for you though, even with renos going on it’s a calmer Christmas season! Wishing you the merriest of holidays my friend!
Oh my gosh, I wish things felt calmer – this has without a doubt been our craziest, busiest and most stressful Christmas yet with all the reno planning, mess and work on top of everything else! Ahhhhh, but it will all be worth it, right? 😉
You’re so right – why not decorate all those other rooms in the house and otherwise get left behind during the holidays! Your bedroom looks absolutely gorgeous with all the subtle Christmas touches. Best of luck on your reno during this holiday season. Merry Christmas!
Thank you so, so much Jenny!
Your bedroom is gorgeous all throughout the year but it’s absolutely stunning all gussied up for Christmas! I bet you are happy to have this sweet spot to retreat to every night. I’m excited for all of the work you guys are doing! Can’t wait to see how it all turns out!
Thank you so, so much Sarah! With the mess happening everywhere else, we’re especially grateful for this cozy bedroom space! Merry Christmas my friend!
I love your wallpaper! Where can I find it?!
Thanks so much Bethany! It’s actually a painted stencil wall – so much easier and less permanent than wallpaper! You can find the tutorial here: https://www.makingitinthemountains.com/knew-painting-stencilled-wall-easy/.
