Filled with Christmas plaids, holiday greenery and lots of twinkling lights, this nostalgic + cozy Christmas porch feels so welcoming for the holidays.

Hello friends! I’m so thrilled to be joining the most incredible group of bloggers today to bring you loads of beautiful holiday home inspiration to help you deck your halls for the holidays this year (you’ll find them all linked up at the bottom of this post)! Sending out a very special welcome to those of you popping over from my sweet friend Doreen’s blog Hymns & Verses – she’s a fellow blogger from the Cozy Living group I share with each month and always has such lovely ideas to share!

One of my very favourite things about our home is this big front porch space – it always looks so welcoming and inviting and of course, never more so than when it’s all decked out for the holidays!

I mean, there’s just something so warm + welcoming about a cozy porch space all decked out in twinkling lights, all sorts of greenery and just a hint of traditional plaid.
Some beautiful garlands draped around the door with a simple wreath to match are such an easy way to bring a bit of a traditional Christmas feel to the space. Adding in a few pops of red and traditional plaids brings such a cozy, nostalgic feel to it all.
We always stock up on firewood before Winter rolls in, keeping it stacked just beside the door for easy access. Sure, it’s a super practical place to store it all, but I think it looks so lovely + cozy tucked into this little corner of our porch.

And I’ve always loved the look of a lovely wreath hanging in each window! You can find a tutorial for that giant Christmas wreath here, it was SO simple to make.

Nothing is more nostalgic this time of year than a farmhouse porch all decked out for the holidays! It’s truly the most cozy and welcoming space in our home!

Of course, it looks even cozier all lit up at night (you can see more of our Cozy Christmas Lights at Night Tour here)!
If you found yourself wondering about any of the decor pieces I used to create this look, you can find most of them linked up below:

Such a welcoming porch, Kristi! I agree completely about the firewood–it’s decorative as well as practical. Are your Santa and snowman figures vintage? I remember having some like those growing up and I just loved them. It’s always a pleasure to tour with you–Merry (early) Christmas!
Thanks so much Christy! I actually picked up the Santa and snowman new this year – they reminded me of ones we had growing up too! Wishing you a very Merry Christmas too!
I love your home and that porch is fabulous. You have such a wonderful space to decorate and snow too. How perfect is that. The garland, trees, wreaths, lights and even the stack of wood are the perfect Christmas decor. Love it all. Thanks so much for joining the tour again this season. You home is filled with such wonderful vintage and unique treasures that add so much charm.
Thank you so, so much Marty, for your kind words and for hosting this beautiful tour! Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!
