Catching you up with all things Currently.
September was a busy month around here. Between hopping back into all the things (school, hockey, piano), getting the yard all wrapped up and tucked in for the Winter ahead (blowing out sprinklers, trimming up bushes, hauling out load after load of leaves, cleaning windows and gutters), tearing apart and then rebuilding the fireplace in our Study, planning a few little updates for our Living Room, running a half marathon in Canmore, ordering up the last of the furniture for the Study, and all the big & little things in between it all – well, let’s just say we had a very full month. And, with all things Christmas starting up in just over a month around here, I’ve got A LOT I’d love to finish up through the month ahead, which means our October is sure to be just as busy.

CURRENTLY
Reading: I’m only about 100 pages in, but so far I’m really enjoying this one.
Writing: List after list of things I’d like to finish up around the house before the holiday season rolls in. You can catch up with the general ideas of it all here.
Needing: To decide if I want to layer a moody rug into our Living Room. What do you think?
Creating: Oh, I’ve got all sorts of ideas swirling around my head right now. After feeling such a strong creative block since moving into this new/old house last summer, it’s been amazing to finally feel those design juices flowing again! I’ve got plans in the works for the Study, Living Room, Ensuite (coming to the blog later this week), our Laundry + Mudroom and another little room re-fresh I can’t wait to share soon!).
Loving: All of the cozy Fall touches around the house.
To Do: Ha! This is pretty long list right now. With loads of ideas, comes loads of projects. Here’s what we’re hoping to tackle through the month ahead though.
Wearing: I’ve been wearing these cozy mules everywhere.
On my wish list: I’ve been wanting this cookware set for ages now.
Planning: A quick little room refresh that I can’t wait to share! Thinking I’ll share all the details in next week’s Newsletter, so make sure you’re on the list!
Working for me right now: Making decisions. I swear, with every decision I make, the next feels easier and easier.
What’s not: With endless ideas, comes endless work. Our to-do lists are definitely filling up fast around here.
Anticipating: Watching our Study and Living Room designs come to life.
