Weekend Reading #199
A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.

Happy Friday my friends! I hope you had a wonderful week! Between renovations, after school activities and two evenings of parent teacher interviews for me, our week felt VERY full. I’m not sure we’ve ever looked forward to a long weekend more than we are today! ๐
While we’ve definitely got some fun plans for the weekend ahead (including a night away in the city for me), we’ve also got a lofty to-do list around the house. We knocked so many projects out last weekend and made so much renovation progress, it’s definitely lit a fire under us – the closer we get to that finish line, the more motivated we feel to get it all done. I can’t believe how much this little corner of our bedroom changed over just one weekend! It’s so much more gratifying to finally be at a stage where we can see our progress as we go.
On top of continuing on with the renovations in our primary bedroom and ensuite, I’m also hoping to start spreading some Christmas decor all around the house. I’m always SO excited to see it up around the house, but it can feel like a daunting task when I first pull it all out – it’s just a lot I think. Last year, I really took my time with it, ever so slowly filling the house with all things Christmas. I loved how it evolved over time rather than through one long, overwhelming day and I’m really looking forward to stretching it all out again this year.
And now, here are my favourite reads from the week…
