Well good morning friends! And a very happy Sunday!
I suppose it’s about time we work our way back to real life.
You know, count our blessings for the wonderful holiday we enjoyed and move on into our normal, everyday lives once again.
Back to work, back to school, back to housework, routines, dinners at home, early mornings – you get the gist.
As much as I enjoyed the freedom of all those days off with my family, I can’t say I’m sorry to get back into the swing of things. There’s just something so comforting about that rhythm of our everyday life. Those lazy days mixed with the exciting things to look forward to that make up the holidays might be a little more few and far between as we get back to real life, but that just heightens the anticipation, right? And we’ve certainly got more than our fair share of special moments thrown into each and every day, no matter what we’re doing.
Cue the {contented sigh}.
I have to say, our first week back has been absolutely lovely.
It’s been a week of making resolutions.
And getting organized.
We’ve been continuing along our journey to {sparking joy}, working through our disaster of a basement. It’s been A LOT of work going through everything, getting rid of as much as we can stand to and organizing what’s left. I cannot wait to share it with you!
Have I mentioned how much I {love} this book? Seriously, it’ll change your life.
This week I gushed about my love for planners, then I came across these brilliant ideas about how to organize mine and make it work for me.
I also wouldn’t mind a pretty calendar like this one to hang on the wall.
I wonder how I’ve made it through 11,510 breakfasts and never tried this.
I think next week I’ll try to work through a few more of these photography lessons. After all, it’ll take just a few minutes, but the knowledge will last a lifetime (well, if I practice it anyway).
I’m pretty excited about this new to me blog.
And of course, one of the few that I’ve been following along with for ages. Hands down one of my very favourites!
It may be decluttered, but I’m thinking it’s about time I get my kitchen organized.
Speaking of kitchens, I am absolutely smitten with this one.
And now my friends, it’s time to enjoy what’s left of our weekend.
Wishing you SUCH a lovely week!
