Happy Friday friends! How was your week? Things have definitely been a bit off around here for the last couple of weeks as we all had our turns taking on a cough/cold/Covid. Brady ended up testing positive early last week and, though it was much more mild than the first time for him, it still knocked his energy out for the better part of a week. And of course, just as soon as Brady started feeling better, Carson and I ended up with a sore throat and cold. It very well could have been the big C too, though we never did test – instead we just hunkered down at home for the week watching movie marathons (including a few Christmas flicks) and eating ice cream at all hours of the day.
Obviously, feeling so sick didn’t leave much energy for any house projects this week (including the painting I’d planned in the pyramid room), but we’re all feeling so much better after all that rest and I’m already planning out all sorts of projects for next week.

This weekend marks Thanksgiving here in Canada (I know that sounds early for you American folks). We’re so looking forward to getting together for lots of visits with our families and of course, enjoying some delicious food while we’re at it!
Wishing all of our fellow Canadians a very happy Thanksgiving weekend ahead!
