Weekend Reading #210

A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.

Happy Friday friends! How was your week? We had another busy one around here – our days have felt more full than usual lately and, while we’ve been enjoying so many fun new adventures, it’s definitely been a bit of a struggle to keep up. Between busier work schedules for Brady and I, starting up with my half marathon training again, renovations, catching up with our Spring yard maintenance, following along with our Edmonton Oilers through the playoffs and Carson joining a community baseball league, well, life has felt VERY full lately. Mother’s Day was definitely a welcome break for us all around here – the boys cooked up an incredible brunch spread while my Mom and I went for a walk together and then we had a wonderfully slow day just putzing around the house together. I even managed to carve out some time to enjoy the beautiful weather out on the deck with a new book.

We’re looking forward to the long weekend ahead here – hoping to keep plugging away at our renovations upstairs, maybe even pick back up with some of the hardwood install throughout the rest of our second floor. Of course, we’ll be sure to leave lots of room for some downtime around here too!

And now, here are my favourite reads from the week…
