Who knew a doorbell chime could look SO pretty?! That’s the message I kept receiving when I shared over on Instagram that I was ordering up a new doorbell chime for our front entryway. I couldn’t believe how many messages I received from people telling me that they hadn’t ever thought about their doorbell chime, or if they had, they didn’t realize they could so easily replace it.
I’ll tell you, the whole time I was painting this little hallway, I was wishing I didn’t have to put that ugly old doorbell chime back up on the wall afterward. Carson thinks the lego block look is pretty neat, but I would love to see something a little more stylish hanging there instead. This doorbell chime is hanging in a very visible spot in our entryway, with views from our kitchen, dining space, living room, stairs AND entryway – it’s definitely worth investing some time and money to find something really special for this little corner.
I searched all around the internet looking for the most beautiful doorbell chimes and I have to say, I was surprised at how difficult they seemed to come by. I mean, it was really easy to find a very basic, boring white chime that would easily blend into a wall space, but I wanted the opposite – something bold and beautiful that would really stand out as a design feature in our entryway. Luckily, after searching high and low, I did eventually come up with several beautiful options and today, I thought I’d share some of my favourites with you just in case you’re on the hunt for something similar. Which one is your favourite? I ended up ordering up this beauty for our own entryway – I went with the unlacquered brass finish so it will patina over time. Brady finally got it installed this past weekend and I couldn’t be more in love! It’s absolutely perfect!!!
