Weekend Reading #182

A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.

Happy Friday my friends! I don’t know about you, but we are very ready for a weekend around here. The forecast is looking to be beautiful weather through the weekend ahead, so I’m hoping to spend some time outside tackling yard work, planting a few flower baskets to scatter around the yard and adding a few more bushes to the garden beds I fixed up last year. Brady’s planning to start working on water proofing the shower in our ensuite – we’ve used this Schluter Kerdi system in the past and it’s been so fantastic to work with. Of course, we’re also planning on spending some time enjoying the beautiful weather outside too – Summers are too short around here to waste them working inside all weekend! Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead my friends!

And now, here are my favourite reads from the week…

My favourite reads from the week…

Move over focal wall, loving the idea of a focal room.

Totally onboard with the snug.

Our love for nostalgic interiors has reached a new level. You know how much we love this (read the story of our new/old home here)!

An incredible 80’s Tudor renovation that’s giving us all sorts of inspo for our own 80’s Tudor.

A great deep dive into two IKEA closet systems and which might be better for your closet.

I’ve noticed this new trend too and I love it. Luckily we’ve got a lot around this new/old house of ours to work with.

On the hunt for all the rhubarb recipes lately, adding this rhubarb bread to my baking list this weekend.

The Instagram account I just can’t get enough of this week.

Finally, here’s the book I’ve been curling up with this week.

Wishing you the most lovely weekend! Let me know if you have any fun plans in the comments below!
