Weekend Reading #213
A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.

Happy Friday my friends! At least I think it’s Friday, definitely loosing track of my days around here. 😉 It’s hard to believe we’re already more than halfway through August – though we enjoyed a slower summer around home this year, it still somehow flew by in a blink. Sticking around home this summer has truly been the gift we didn’t know we needed – a chance to tackle all sorts of projects around the house (Carson took on the fence this week!), dive into some deep cleaning, spend extra time with family and friends and still manage to fit in lots of rest. I don’t think we’ve ever gone into a school year feeling so refreshed and recharged.
Speaking of school – next week, I’ll be heading back into my classroom to start getting everything set up for the new school year ahead while the boys head to the mountains for some mountain biking adventures. I decided to set up an Insta account with my teaching bestie to share all of our teaching adventures, you can find it here if you’re interested in following along. Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead!
My favourite reads from the week…

The secret to styling lived in bookshelves.
Love this “secret to happiness“.
How many steps a day should women really get?
The design trends that scream 2025 (and whether they’ll have any longevity).
31+ recipes to cook in August.
How to build an range hood cover over an existing range hood. Taking notes for our own kitchen makeover.
The Instagram account I just can’t get enough of this week.

Finally, here’s the book I’ve been curling up with this week.
Wishing you the most lovely weekend! Let me know if you have any fun plans in the comments below!
