A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.
Happy Friday my friends! How was your week? Ours absolutely flew by as we got back into the swing of things around here after our trip (read more about that here). Not surprisingly, we had a lot of catching up to do with laundry, yard work and the many other jobs that went undone around here while we were gone, so we didn’t really get around to any more work on our renovations upstairs (though I’m hoping we’ll find some time this weekend to dive back in to all that). It wasn’t all work this week though – we made it back home from our trip just in time to celebrate Canada Day – with a BBQ, a full day out in the sunshine and fireworks to finish it all off, Canada Day always feels like our official kick off to Summer!

Finally, I just finished this beautiful book – it’s one of the best ones I’ve read in a while. I’d definitely recommend! Here’s the book I’ve been curling up with next.
