A tour of our farmhouse spring bedroom decor.

All right friends, it’s time again for another instalment of our cozy living series, hosted by my friend Jennifer at Town & Country Living. I always look forward to seeing the cozy inspiration that everyone has to. share each month!
Spring is in the air and I am loving every minute of it! Not only is it calendar official, but even better, Mother Nature is right on time for once, bringing warm + sunny days and melting away all that snow we’ve been buried under the last six months.
Spring is making an entrance inside the house as well these last few weeks as all the heavy layers of Winter get packed away and all things light + airy take their place.

Our bedroom space is always the first to get an update with each change in season – I love switching up our bedding for the season to create a cozy nest to crawl into each night.

As the days grow warmer, I can’t resist switching out all those heavy Winter layers for some lighter linen textures.

Some light coloured greenery and a couple of sage throw pillows brings some subtle colour to the space.

Adding in some florals, with a mix of both fresh and faux, breathes a bit of life.

It’s really quite simple, but in the end, the light layers and greenery come together to create the perfect balance of light + airy, while still feeling warm + cozy.

What a beautiful space you have and it’s always decorated just perfectly! Is there a stone finish paint on the black, dark gray night stand???
Thank you so much Dawn! It’s just a bit of a speckled finish (unintentional texture from my paint sprayer actually), but it totally looks like stone in these photos. Thanks again!
Kristi, that bedding is gorgeous! I don’t think I’d want to leave. The baby’s breath on the nightstand is such a sweet touch. Great tour, friend!
Thank you so, so much Amanda! Happy weekend my friend!
What an inviting room! Did you make your chandelier? Very, very nice.
Thank you so much Sandi! And no, I actually found the chandelier on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2UoPJT1.
I could not agree more about bringing out all the linen in the spring! Your bedroom looks beautiful Kristi!
Thank you so much Emily!
Can you tell me about the finish on your black furniture? Itโs beautiful.
Thank you so much Deb! I actually just used a paint sprayer to paint our antique dresser and side tables, but the sprayer added a bit of texture when the nozzle was a bit clogged. It wasn’t exactly intentional, but I’m still so happy with the look. Thanks again!
I love your retreat so much, it’s an actual breathe of fresh air when ever I take a “tour”, just beautiful!
Thank you so much Laurie!
Your bedroom is always one of my favorites, Kristi! I love all that wonderful texture on your bed!!
Thank you so, so much Jennifer! Happy Spring my friend!
I am in love with your neutral bedroom! I just noticed your planked ceiling and that really makes such a statement in a room! I’ve been trying to convince my hubs to do this in one of our rooms!!!
Thanks so much Doreen! I’m so happy you love it!
I always love seeing your bedroom. It’s so serene.
Awwww, well thank you so much Danielle!
I love the neutral colors in this bedroom! Where did you get the wood lamps on your nightstands? I have been looking for some just like that but I have not had any luck!
Thanks so much Erica! I’m so happy you love it as much as we do! Unfortunately the lamps are several years old now and no loner available, but here’s one that’s quite similar: https://rstyle.me/+rvafKqoRottYcNhXvoV3WA. Hope this helps!
