This cozy + neutral farmhouse Christmas bedroom is full of rich, cozy textures, simple holiday greenery and vintage inspired mercury glass.
Hello friends, it’s time again for another instalment of our cozy living series, hosted by my friend Jennifer at Town & Country Living. I always look forward to seeing the cozy inspiration that everyone has to share each month!

Our bedroom space is always the first room I decorate with each change in season. Sure, there are many other rooms in our home that we spend a lot more time in (awake anyway), but there’s just something about crawling into a cozy nest at the end of a long day. And so, as the days grow colder, shorter and snowier, I just can’t resist warming up our bedroom space with all that cozy holiday decor.

Welcome to our farmhouse style bedroom all decked out for the holidays!

Like the rest of our home (you can check out our main floor holiday tour here), I like to keep the decor really simple this time of year. I find it really leaves us with some room to breathe so to speak.

As the cold Winter months start to roll in, I always swap out our linen sheets for some cozy flannel, but the rest of our bedding remains the same. This year I opted for a little pop of colour with this pretty throw pillow. Some faux potted greens bring a bit of colour to our bedside tables and the mercury glass wreaths a touch of sparkle above the bed.

Our DIY fireplace feels so cozy with a snowy cedar garland draped over the mirror and a few simple decorations along the mantel. A large basket is the perfect way to keep a few extra cozy blankets handy (like this super simple DIY knit blanket).

Because nobody wants to wake up to a cluttered view, I kept things really simple on our dresser with two faux pine trees.

The little reading nooks at the far end of our bedroom might just be my favourite spaces in our whole house. These gorgeous chairs always look so cozy + inviting, no matter what time of year, but I think they look cozier than ever with the rich textures of these throw pillows and that pretty plaid blanket! And that DIY pom pom wreath and vintage blanket ladder are the perfect finishing touches.

It always amazes me that just a few simple touches can warm up a space so much! Just in case the photos weren’t enough, here’s a little video tour too:

Your bedroom is so pretty and so cozy! I never decorate my bedroom (with the exception of candles in the windows) but may need to add some faux greens this year! Thanks for the cozy inspiration! 🙂
