My favourite reads from the week.
Well my friends, we’ve officially made it through another week. I don’t know about you, but this week just flew by for me! We actually kicked off our week in Jasper, extending our weekend by a day on either side to give ourselves a bit more time to really enjoy our time away in the mountains. We may have come home to piles of work – meetings to catch up on for Brady, report cards to finish up for me and even a bit of homework for Carson – but, it was totally worth it! Getting away to the mountains is always such a perfect mix of adventure and calm, and we always come home with our buckets feeling very full.
With so much going on behind the scenes last week, we didn’t make much progress up in Carson’s bedroom. The boys are back in Jasper again this weekend, but I’m thinking I’ll probably stay behind this time to catch up around the house a bit and maybe even start working on our landscaping plans. The idea of planning out our different yard spaces is super daunting, but I’m so excited to get our yard cleaned up after last summer’s construction mess and start working on these outdoor spaces. The parts came to fix Carson’s giant bed situation (you can read more about that here) this week too, so maybe we’ll manage to squeeze in some time to get that all fixed up.
And now, here’s what I’ll be catching up with this weekend…
Looking for some colour palette inspo for your home? Here’s a great place to start.
Speaking of paint, this is a great guide to help you choose the right white paint (which is SO much harder to get right than you’d think!).
SUCH a great way to get lux window treatments for less. Why didn’t I think of that?!
Is reupholstery really worth it? Here are a few things to consider.
I shared this beautiful DIY greenhouse last Spring, but it’s SO good I couldn’t help but share it again.
The Instagram feed I just can’t get enough of this week.
And finally, here’s what’s on my nightstand this week (SO good!).
Wishing you the most lovely weekend!
