A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.
Happy Friday friends! I hope you had a wonderful week! Ours absolutely flew by here – between catching up after my weekend away last weekend, decorating for Fall, hockey practices, piano lessons, furniture shopping (there was an issue with the chair I’d ordered for the study, so we had to go with this one instead, luckily I think I love it even more), well, let’s just say our week felt very full around here. We’re all really looking forward to the weekend ahead – we’ve got a BBQ potluck Saturday evening with all of our neighbours and then a wide open day on Sunday to catch up on chores and hopefully get a bit of drywalling done in the study. Do you have any fun plans for the weekend ahead?
On the blog lately…
And now, here are my favourite reads from the week…
My favourite reads from the week…
My friend Bre totally knocked it out of the park with this mudroom renovation!
So many brilliant ideas about how to work with a dated honey oak kitchen. Also enjoyed this take on five colour palettes to update a honey oak kitchen.
A great breakdown of how to tile a backsplash.
So much inspiration packed into this house tour.
Adding this roasted butternut squash & sun dried tomato chicken pasta to the menu next week.
Buying a house in the 1990’s. SO funny!
What are your thoughts on this interior design trend? I think it could be really great as long as it’s done right.
The Instagram account I just can’t get enough of this week.
Finally, here’s the book I’ve been curling up with this week.
Wishing you the most lovely weekend! Let me know if you have any fun plans in the comments below!
