A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.
Well friends, it’s been an exciting week around here… my brother and sister-in-law brought the sweetest little baby boy into the world and we couldn’t be more in love. He reminds us so much of Carson when he was a baby – the same squishy little cheeks and tucked in lower lip – he’s absolutely perfect. Meeting this new little bundle will surely be the highlight of our year!
While we were waiting on the edge of our seat for that sweet babe to make his way into the world, I kept myself busy with a few more projects around the house (after all, I’ve got a Summer to-do list to get through!). Last week I tackled the garage doors (check them out here if you missed them), this week I was hard at work on the study – planning, shopping and painting. If you’re curious about the direction we’re going with the design in here, keep an eye out for some mood boards coming to the blog next week, but in the mean time, you can check out this post for a glimpse into some of our ideas for this space. This weekend, I’m hoping to finish up the painting in here while Brady keeps plugging away at that sprinkler system outside – here’s hoping we can both make some good progress around here!
On the blog lately…
