SHARING MY FAVOURITE READS FROM THE WEEK

Happy weekend friends! I hope you’ve had a wonderful week! Things around here have been rather quiet this week as we plug away with the basement reno and start our planning for the exterior makeover we hope to make happen this Summer. Though that’s all VERY exciting, perhaps even more exciting is the fact that Carson is wrapping up his last week of school for the year. He has had THE MOST amazing teacher this year (who just happens to be a good friend of mine), but with the switch to online schooling in March, he’s really missed interacting with his teacher and friends and his interest in all things school has definitely dwindled. I’m sure like so many other families right now, we’re all feeling ready for Summer break around here.

Things on the blog have been quieter too, though I did manage to put together this post about what we planted in our garden this year in case you’re curious.
I’ve also been working on a few other posts that I’ve been meaning to share for ages now, including the most asked questions about our home and a tour of all of the handmade wood signs hung throughout our home. I’d love to hear if there’s anything else you’d love to read about in the comments below.
And now, while I sip my morning coffee, here’s what I’ll be catching up with this weekend…

And finally, I’m still making my way through this latest book. I’m just over halfway through and still not sure what I think of it, hopefully I’ll finish it up this weekend so I can share my thoughts with y’all next week.
Wishing you the most lovely weekend my friends!
