This delicate & simple Spring wreath is such a lovely way to bring a little colour and life to any Spring decor!
Hello! Welcome back to another round up of beautiful decorating ideas that you can whip up in just 10 minutes or less!
Y’all, I’m seriously SO excited about this series! I mean honestly, who doesn’t have 10 minutes to spare?
On the first Wednesday of each month, I’ve been teaming up with an amazing group of bloggers to bring you all sorts of inspiration that you’re sure to love. This month’s theme was {Easter} and I absolutely cannot wait to see what everyone came up with!
Like last month, I struggled a bit with this month’s theme, simply because well, I don’t really decorate for Easter.
It’s not that I don’t love the pretty pastel colours & of course, I can’t get enough of those sweet little chocolate eggs, mostly I guess, I just can’t be bothered decorating for something that seems to roll out as quickly as it rolls in.
Instead, I’d much rather invest my time and money to welcome some Spring into my home … and thankfully, it just so happens to be just in time for Easter too! *And really, I’m sure the Easter Bunny won’t notice!
So, for today’s post, I put together this lovely little Spring Wreath inspired by those pretty floral crowns I’ve been pinning away for years now on Pinterest.
It was so simple to make, I can’t wait to show you how I did it!
I created the base of my wreath with a simple length of vine wrapped floral wire, folded in half to double it up. I worked my way out from the folded end, creating open spaces between the two strings of wire and then twisting it together a couple of times to hold each one in place.
I worked my way down the entire length of the wire, creating repeating figure eight style shapes. Once I reached the other end, I simply joined both ends together by wrapping the last couple of inches around that first loop I had created.
Laying my wreath onto a flat surface, I pressed it all down so that each of my little loops was flat and straight.
Finally with a bit of hot glue, I attached a little ribbon bow and a just a few faux flower buds to my wreath.
Then, with a little loop of ribbon fed through the middle, this sweet Spring wreath was ready to hang.
I think it looks super cute hanging on my new memo board (watch for that tutorial next week)!
I’ve been meaning to make a Spring Wreath like this for ages now and I have to say, I absolutely adore how this one turned out!
And now, I cannot wait to check out what all of my talented bloggy friends came up with!
