I’m incredibly excited to be sharing my first ever guest post for one of my favorite fellow Canadian bloggers, AKA Design!
I would absolutely LOVE for y’all to pop over to see how I put together this DIY Vintage Window Flower Box!
Wishing you SUCH a lovely day!
PS. You can find me sharing here and Savvy Southern Style.
Just popped over to AKA Design and checked out your post – I never knew paint could scrape off of glass so easily, it definitely makes it easier than spending all that time taping away! I can’t believe how awesome the final result is, like you said, it perfectly balances your front window, awesome job. Pinning this!
Thank you SO much Sam! It’s SUCH a great time-saving trick! I’m thrilled you love the result as much as I do!
You’re welcome! Yep, I will definitely be using that trick.
(from YTTS) Love the detail the trim adds. Lovely!
Thank you SO much Jennifer!!! It has definitely brightened up our front porch!

This is so cute! Checked out the blog, thanks for sharing 🙂
Thank you SO much Georgia!
Great project Kristi! My mom actually just got rid of a bunch of old windows after leaving them sit in our shed for years. Why is that you always find a use for something you’ve saved AFTER you get rid of it!?!?! Seriously, though, this is a lovely way to fill up that area on the outside of you beautiful home. I’m including it in some features on my blog tomorrow!
You are SO super sweet Jamie! Thank you so, so much!!! I can’t wait to check it out! And yes, I have my very best ideas after I’ve gotten rid of things!
Love this, Kristi! I need something like this for my front porch windows!
Thanks Amanda! It was SO quick to whip up!

Lovely! Window boxes are one of my favorite projects. I made one for our home years ago with my daddy before he passed away. Yours is stunning! Sharing it at this week’s link party… http://www.thelifeofjenniferdawn.com/2015/07/a-little-bird-told-me-weekly-link-party.html
