Last week, I shared a post all about our new exterior paint job, including the bold colour choice we went with. And holy smokes, I was totally blown away by your responses to it! Turns out y’all love a classic black exterior just as much as we do! While it was a resounding vote of LOVE for our new black exterior, I also had more than a few comments suggesting that while you loved the black colour, you weren’t sure you’d be brave enough to try such a bold choice yourselves. Well my friends, I’m hoping that after looking through today’s post, you might just feel differently. Honestly, I’m not sure I would have found the confidence to take such a leap out of my comfort zone either if I hadn’t fallen in love with this same bold look over and over again, each time I came across a new photo sharing it. With every photo of a black exterior with white trim that I crossed paths with, I found myself growing more and more sure that our house was built to be black. A traditional and classic colour, yet unexpected and paired with our cedar siding, I just knew it would have the perfect mix of modern-cottage that I’d been looking for.
