Every garden space needs a potting table and these 12 DIY potting benches are some of the prettiest out there!
With Summer finally here, I can’t help but dream of all things outdoors.
I mean, when you look out at a cold world of white for eight months out of the year, you definitely want to make the most of every fleeting moment of Summer.
We’ve been hashing out all sorts of plans for our outdoor spaces. With a large yard and a few mature trees, we’ve got some great bones to work with. This of course, makes it even easier to imagine all that potential to create an amazing backyard oasis.
We’d love to see a cedar fence, beautiful stamped concrete patio (to match our front porch), a lovely fireplace and a covered area so that we can enjoy even those rainy days outdoors.
But, the very first thing on my list is a big ol’ garden to grow all sorts of fruits and veggies. We’re a bit late to the game this year, but here’s hoping we can pull it all together for next year.
In the mean time, without a garden of my own, I’ve had to become a master of potting…
And, on the driveway no less.
Each and every Spring I think about how amazing it would be to have a lovely potting bench to spread out on, instead of turning our driveway into a mess of dirt, trays and pots.
My list of things to do before the snow flies again may be growing (impossibly long) by the minute, but after finding all sorts of gorgeous inspiration, building a cute little potting bench is quickly moving right to the top (after sipping drinks, curled up with a book of course!)…
