Sharing my favourite reads from the week just in time for the weekend.

Hello friends, how’s everyone holding up this week?
I’d say things felt a little more settled around our house this week – staying home is starting to feel more “normal” for us and to be honest, I’m not sure how I feel about that. Of course I’m happy to have the extra time to cozy up with my family and spend some simpler, slower days together. And, it’s really so much easier to let the weight of all the uncertainty in our world right now go when we’re all tucked safely inside our home.

But, there’s so much we’re missing about that “old normal” too and I can’t help but think about how truly heartbreaking this all is.
I miss our friends. I miss our families. And I’m just so disappointed that we won’t be gathering with everyone this weekend to celebrate Easter together.
Though Easter is going to look very different for us this year, we’re going to make the best of it – working in some old favourites (it just wouldn’t be Easter without an egg hunt!) and a few new things to look forward to too (we can’t wait to bake up these special Easter treats!). I’d love to hear how you’ll be celebrating this year – let me know in the comments below!
And now, while I sip my morning coffee and wait for my daily dose of #coronaconnection (this girl is SO real and watching her seriously feeds my soul every morning!), here’s what I’ll be catching up with…
