A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.

Happy Friday friends! I hope you had a wonderful week! Ours was filled with lots of little projects around the house – ordering up the last of the furniture for the study, planning out a little refresh of our main living room (more on that next week!) and Brady started mudding and taping the fireplace in the study. Carson spent the beginning of the week stuck at home with a cold, but luckily it passed just as quickly as it came and he was feeling better in time for piano and hockey through the tail end of the week.
On the docket this weekend: continue with mudding the fireplace in the study (hoping we can have that wrapped up soon so that we can get the mantel back up and start tiling the bottom! We’ve also got a few little jobs to get done around the house, mostly a bit of yard work as we start prepping for the winter ahead – the lawn is already blanketed in a layer of leaves and the overnight frosts have officially claimed most of my flowers now, so it’s time to start cleaning all of that up. Honestly, it’ll be a pretty low-key weekend around here and I have to say, that’s a-okay with me. 🙂
