A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.
Happy Friday my friends! Did this week fly by for anyone else? Between school & hockey, well, it was another very full week around here, but we did manage to work on a few house projects along the way (thanks in huge part to all of us having Monday off). Brady spent most of Monday plugging away in our Primary Ensuite (you can see what we’re up to here) – he’s got the plumbing rough ins all finished up and has started on framing out the walls now. We did run into a little hiccup, but I think we’ve got a super fun solution for it all figured out – planning to walk you through it all on Instagram this weekend. While Brady was working away, C and I spent some time putting out a few more Christmas decorations around the house. We’ve still got a few bins to go yet, but it’s already looking so warm + cozy around here. I’ve put together a little tour of it all to share here on the blog next week, so stay tuned for that.
Yesterday, I picked up our new tile for the Study fireplace. I’m super hopeful we can get it installed this weekend, but with two hockey games for the boys (Carson to play, Brady to coach), that may be pretty wishful thinking (which is my strong suit after all). I’m planning to share some sneak peeks in next week’s Newsletter, be sure you’re subscribed so you don’t miss it!

And now, here are my favourite reads from this week…
Weekend Reading

SO much inspiration in this dreamy old farmhouse.
100% on board with these 2024 design trend predictions.
Not so much these “mistakes” you may be making when decorating for the holidays. I can’t say I agree with single one. Is there a “right” way to decorate for Christmas?
Love the way the greenery shines in this holiday home tour.
Love the rich tone-on-tone colours in this cozy family room.
What I’m reading this week. So far, I’m really loving it!
And finally, here’s the Insta feed I can’t stop scrolling this week…

Wishing you the most lovely weekend! Let me know if you have any fun plans in the comments below!
