Happy Friday friends! How was your week? Somehow ours felt busy, yet slow, all at the same time. I think it was just a weird mix of packing in a lot of everyday things, but without really feeling like we’re getting anything done. Like I felt really busy most days, but don’t have much to show for it – it’s just been one of those weeks I guess. We do have a long weekend ahead of us (the last of the Summer) and I’m hoping to make the most of it with a good balance of productivity, while still doing something special together as a family. We’re hoping to get our new double ovens installed (our current ones are 35 years old and work exactly as you’d expect them to considering their age), get the little office beside our living room all cleared out and set up (it’s the last room with boxes left to unpack), and we’ve also got some furniture to shift around the house (long story). We’re also hoping to take a day to do something fun together – maybe a few hikes around Jasper, or a day trip to go paddle boarding. Whatever we do, I really want to be intentional with our time through this last long weekend of the Summer. Do you have any big plans for the long weekend ahead? I’d love to hear them!
