Not only have we been chipping away at this ginormous renovation we’ve taken on (you can read more about it all here), but on top of it all, our whole house was brought down by what was quite possibly the longest flu in history.

Oh my gosh, it was SO awful.

But thank goodness, we are finally, finally starting to feel more ourselves again. Which means I’m finally finding the energy to get back into the swing of things around the house and on the blog.

I’m not very good at sitting on my butt and getting absolutely nothing done (even when I’ve got absolutely no choice), but at least all this downtime gave me a chance to catch up with some of my favourite blogs – in fact, I was finding SO many brilliant ideas, that I found myself totally overloading my Pinterest boards with all sorts of inspiration + ideas that I just can’t wait to try!
