Happy weekend my friends! I hope you had a wonderful week! Ours was a pretty exciting one around here as we were able to tackle a few little projects that have been on our list for ages. Not only did I manage to get our outdoor Christmas decorations all tucked away for another year, but we also cleaned out and organized the storage room in the process AND managed to squeeze in a total organization overhaul in our garage as well. On top of that, we were also able to finally hang our new curtains after waiting eight long months for our new double curtain rod to arrive. Though I’m still so happy with our old linen curtains, I’ve been wanting to add a pair of sheers to this window as well – not only will they tie in perfectly with the matching cafe curtains we have hanging in our kitchen and dining area, but they’ll also provide a bit of privacy on those cloudy, overcast days that are dark enough to need lights on through the day, without totally closing off the outside world. I still have to patch and paint the holes from our old single rod, but I couldn’t help sharing the way the light filters through those lovely sheers, especially as the sun sets in the evening.
In other exciting news, I’ve also jumped on board the Norwex movement – have you heard of it? It’s an all natural cleaning line that has just totally blown me away! Y’all know I can be a bit nutty about keeping a clean & tidy home – add to that my continuous search to rid our lives of harmful chemicals and protect and preserve our environment and, well let’s just say it’s no surprise that have fallen head-over-heels for this incredible company and the amazing products it produces!
