Weekend Reading #200
A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.
Happy Friday my friends! How was your week? Things just seem to be getting busier and busier around here. Carson has been taking advantage of every opportunity to play all the school sports he can and is actually playing in his first ever volleyball tournament this weekend, which he’s very much looking forward to. Unfortunately, Brady and I both came down with our first colds of the season this week – I think it’s the busyness of work (parent-teacher-interviews for me last week, report cards this week) and renovations on top of our already very full schedules that seemed to just catch up with us this week. With so much on the go right now, we didn’t have much time to rest, luckily getting sick didn’t seem to slow us down too much this week and we managed to power through all the things.
Aside from watching C play volleyball this weekend, we’re planning to keep plugging along with the renovations upstairs. I’m not entirely sure just what we’ll be working on, but I’ll be sure to share updates through my Insta Stories. On top of that, I’m hoping to get a few more bins of Christmas decor unpacked this weekend too – here’s hoping it’ll be feeling a little more like Christmas around here soon!
