SHARING MY FAVOURITE READS FROM THE WEEK JUST IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEND.

Happy weekend friends! Carson and I actually got a head start to our weekend with a break from school yesterday and today. After spending most of my week sick with yet another cold (I seem to be catching everything this year!), it felt great to take a day off together yesterday. We slept in, enjoyed a lazy morning in our pj’s and took our Charley girl out for a long walk through the park. They’ll be no sleeping in today though with an early morning hockey camp for Carson. Tomorrow, we’re whisking Carson and his cousin off to the city to take in a show with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra – they’re so excited to have a chance to dress up in their fanciest clothes for a special lunch and can’t wait to celebrate Beethoven’s 250th birthday at the Winspear. And then Sunday, it’s back to hockey again with a travel game – it’ll be Carson’s turn to play goalie for the last time this season, which is his favourite position to play right now. The boys are hoping we’ll be back in time for a family snowmobile ride + family movie night to finish off the weekend. With so much to look forward to, it’s sure to be a memorable, fun-filled weekend!
And now, here’s what I’m catching up before we head off to the rink…
WEEKEND READING
I’ve been crushing on vintage inspired mouldings for a while now and would love to add some to our home. We’ll definitely be coming back to this brilliant tutorial.
And, since we’re sharing our crushes today – modern cottage style has had my heart for a while now.

It’s so easy to fall in love with the texture a good basket wall can add to a space.
And, while we’re on the topic of texture – I think this might just be my next project.

These free printables are so perfect for Spring.
What’s your take on faux florals? These gorgeous options might just change your mind.

How adorable are these little eraser valentines! Carson can’t wait to pass them out to all of his friends next week!

And wouldn’t these cute little homemade pop tarts be the perfect Valentine’s Day treat!
Finally, speaking of reading this weekend, here’s what’s on my nightstand currently.
Wishing you the most lovely weekend my friends!
