There’s something so nostalgic about a welcoming wreath hanging on your front door or a lovely Christmas garland draped down the stair railing. And nothing is cozier than curling up in front of a glowing Christmas tree. I’ve gathered up some of the most beautiful and realistic faux trees, garlands and wreaths to help you bring a cozy touch of green to your holiday decor this year.

Okay, I know it seems far too early for anything Christmas to most of you, but around here, we’re already five movies into our holiday season. 😉 Carson and I spent much of last week stuck at home with a cold and, while being sick may have interrupted a lot of plans for us both, it also gave us the perfect opportunity to snuggle in together for some Christmas movie marathons. We lit a fire, sipped hot chocolate and cozied up under our favourite knit blanket – all that was missing was the glow of a Christmas tree tucked in the corner. And so (I’m sure this comes as no surprise), the very next day we begged Brady to dig out the Christmas tree!
We didn’t fluff it or fill it with all sorts of decorations, but instead just pieced it all together, tucked it into the corner and plugged it in.
Even without all of the trimmings, the glow of that Christmas tree felt so warm & inviting, we found all sorts of reasons to cozy up in front of it all day long – curling up on the sofa with our books, working away on a puzzle at the dining room table and of course, another Christmas movie marathon.
That warm glow felt so inviting, the next day, despite my cough and runny nose (or maybe IN spite of them), I just couldn’t resist adding a few more Christmas lights around the house. I placed a lit garland over our mantel, added one over our kitchen sink window and my favourite of all, draped one down the stair railing, fixing it with some simple satin ribbon. Even without a single decoration, seeing all of that greenery lit up around the house felt so cozy & warm, just as I knew it would.

Each year, as I start to share holiday posts here on the blog or through social media, the things I get asked about more than anything else are where I found such realistic looking greenery – my garlands, wreaths and Christmas tree are always my most asked about holiday decor, so this year I wanted to create a one-stop resource for all of my favourite holiday greenery, just in case you find yourself on the hunt for a new tree, wreath or garland this holiday season. And of course, with shipping timelines growing longer every day, I wanted to share it early so that you can get your favourites ordered sooner rather than later, making sure it can arrive in time for the holiday season.
