Canadian bloggers chat all about how to be authentic online with this blogger Q&A session.
If you follow along with our adventures on Instagram, you’ll probably know all about my recent trip to Jasper, AB with some of my very favourite Western Canadian bloggy friends.
And I’m sure you’re so surprised to hear, we had THE BEST time!
Four busy work from home Mamas escaping to the mountains to just float through four amazing days together – munching on the yummiest food, sipping a few drinks, tackling some work, and of course visiting away each and every minute along the way. We had SO many deep, insightful, and inspiring conversations about everything from family life to all things blog that we found ourselves wishing we could bring y’all into the conversations with us.
And so, we decided to sit down together to record a few of them.
We’ve broken it all down into four separate topics, running through each as a blogger Q+A style session. I’m kicking things off with a chat all about how to be authentic online – we’re digging into the comparison trap that we all sometimes fall into when viewing everyone’s perfect little squares on social media, what our responsibilities are as bloggers to squash that view of perfection and how we all try to balance our own authenticity while still retaining some privacy…
As I said in the video, we’d love to hear your thoughts about how much “authenticity” you’d like to see both on our blogs as well as through social media. Do you tend to follow bloggers for those pretty inspiration pictures, or are you looking for more glimpses into our “real life” behind the scenes too?
And of course, don’t forget to check out the other blogger Q+A videos in the playlist as we talk about our decor styles and how we found them, how we balance working from home with the kiddos around and how we make money blogging.
I hope you had as much fun watching these Q+A sessions as we did making them! We’d love to hear your thoughts, leave us your comments or questions below.
Wishing you SUCH a lovely day!
I can't wait to hear your thoughts!
