Good morning friends!
Can you believe it’s March ALREADY?!
I’ve gotta say, I’m pretty darn excited to see some signs of Spring rolling in!
Okay, who am I kidding? We live in northern Alberta – land of eternal Winter (or so it seems anyway).
Spring won’t really arrive for another month (or more).
And then it will last for a few more months. #ImissSummer
But, even if it is still ages away, I just can’t help but shout from the rooftops that we’re one month closer to Summer!
I guess it’s a good thing I’ve got this ginormous list of books to work through while I wait…
And now, here’s a quick update of where I am currently …

Reading: I just opened up this book and cannot wait to really dig into it!
Writing: I’m finally putting together a post spilling all the details about our DIY planked ceiling (as seen in our Farmhouse Master Bedroom) … cannot wait to share!
Watching: Working my way through an all-time fave – the Office.
Listening to: Our fave radio station – have I mentioned Brady’s cousin is one of the hosts?
Needing: A few of these scattered around the house.
Creating: We’re knocking out our latest reno project and it’s going to be amazing!
Learning: Okay, this month I really am going to learn how to use my new Instant Pot because it really is INCREDIBLE!!!
Planning: A few zillion projects for 2016 (yes, still)!
Loving: My homemade morning lattes, which pair perfectly with this everyday granola.
Dreaming about: Summer!!!
Wearing: My new boots!
Coveting: This gorgeous art!
Working for me right now: Living life with more intention.
What’s not: Trying to get ahead of that never-ending to-do list. Ugh!
Anticipating: The day my brother marries his lovely fiancé … they’ve FINALLY set a date!!!
I’d LOVE to hear where are you currently? What’s new and exciting?
Now please excuse me while I curl up with my latest read & a morning coffee…
Wishing you SUCH a lovely week!

It sounds like you have everything under control! !
I live in Texas and I just can’t understand when anyone is looking forward to Summer. It is often that we have days over 100 degrees as high as 112 degrees.
I would love to live where I could just have 3 seasons, but my Grand Children are here so I will stay. Being close to them is worth suffering the heat. I will just keep telling myself that! LOL
Thanks Treva! It sounds like you’re living on the other side of the world from us … people here always wonder how someone can enjoy Winter with our freezing cold temperatures and all the snow that we get 😉 We’re here to be with our families too.
I love those hydrangeas! Sooo pretty. Yikes, I’m not sure I could last long when it’s snowy most of the year. I’ve been wearing shorts & tanks since January – that’s my kind of winter! 😉 Let’s see, I’m currently planning my birthday party this weekend & learning to use my new Cricut! 😀
How lucky Heather! That sounds wonderful! Thanks so much!!!
I love the format you’ve used. It conveys so much without lots of words. This is my first visit to your blog, but I’ll be back. I found you through Katherine’sCorner. Brenda
Well thanks so much! I’m so happy you loved it! These currently posts are such a fun way to grab a little snapshot in time to look back on. 🙂
Oh, that looks like a beautiful, calming oasis! Thanks for linking up at the #HomeMattersParty !
Thanks so much Rachel!
thank you for sharing at the Thursday Favorite Things blog hop. You have some lovely things happening. I’m currently expanding my Katherines Corner shop. It is a slow process but I think it will be worth it in the end. I’m also working on an upcoming blog series for bloggers 50 years old and older. Hugs!
Thanks so much Katherine! Sounds like you’ve got some exciting things in the works!!! Good luck!
Kristi you will need to tell us what you fix in the Instant Pot and how it turns out.
Pretty please!
That machine does so much and the price is right.
Take care and please enjoy your book for me …I have no time lately to read.
Hugs
Thank you Sharleen, will definitely keep you posted with some recipes. And I know just what you mean about reading time, usually I can only make it through a few pages in bed each night before I’m fighting off sleep 😉
