Sharing A Quick Update On All Things {Currently}…
Hello friends! I know things have been rather quiet here on the blog lately. Truth is we’ve had a lot going on behind the scenes. But, with the holiday season rolling in, my mind has been brimming with so many ideas that I’m finding myself excited to jump back into the blog (and instagram) once again so I can share each and every one of them with y’all.
It truly is the most magical time of the year and I’m ready to welcome it all in with open arms.

This past weekend, we dug out all the bins + boxes of Christmas decor and started to fill the house with all the warmth and coziness of the holiday season. I cannot wait to share it with y’all my friends (follow along on Instagram for all the sneak peeks)! For now, here’s a quick look at where we are currently…
Currently.
Reading: I’m about halfway through The Nanny and I’m definitely hooked.
Writing: This month’s cozy living post (which just so happens to be the best zucchini bread recipe ever!).

Watching: Gotta say, I’m loving that all my Fall faves are back – This Is Us, Grey’s Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder are the three I just can’t miss.
Needing: This has been going on for far too long now – it’s time to finally order up this bad boy!
Creating: I’ve got my knitting needles out and can’t wait to show you what I’m up to!
Planning: Things have been pretty quiet here on the blog the last few months, but I’ve got all sorts of plans for holiday projects to share…

Loving: This gorgeous walnut cookbook stand. How have I made it this long without one!
Wearing: With the cooler temperatures of Fall rolling in, I’ve been living in this cozy sweater lately.
Coveting: Wouldn’t these plates look so adorable on a holiday table!
Working for me right now: Cozying up under this super soft blanket with my latest read (and it’s on crazy sale right now!).
What’s not: So many ideas for projects I’d love to make (and share), but so little time.
Anticipating: Decorating for Christmas!!! (too soon?!) Check out last year’s home tour here.

I’d LOVE to hear where are you currently? What are you most looking forward to in the month ahead?
Wishing you SUCH a lovely weekend!

GLAD to see that I’m not the only EARLY Christmas decorator; I take time off work every year the end of October into early November to get mine done. It took me six days of work (and I only live in a 100 square foot townhome–LOL) to get it done, but I’m SO HAPPY with the results this year; I did almost everything differently than I’ve done it before–three new trees. Of course, we still use “our old friends” on one of the trees–the decorations from when the girls were in school that they brought home and some from the grandkids as well, but bought A LOT of new ones this year. Very country/farmhouse with a vignette in front of the living room window, that I think turned out awesomely. Started that “sugar plum dream” in my head when I first spotted this very REALISTIC ice and snow covered little tree at Hobby Lobby back in July. Used a lot of black and white buffalo check this year with some pops of color as well. That tree is mostly the black and white with pops of red. Second living room tree is all gingerbread themed. And, the third tree, which is white holds the old favorites with a few black and white ornaments and cookie ornaments to tie it in with the themes of the other two trees.
Oh, this sounds like a dream Evelyn! I LOVE the idea of a sugar plum theme – how pretty! I’ve always wanted to have two trees to decorate – this will be our first year with one in both of our living room spaces and I’m so excited! Happy holidays!!!
OK, that is 1000 square foot not 100; not sure why it dropped the other 0. It’s small enough as it is.
I’m looking SO forward to enjoying that lovely space, a visit and a sneak peek at all of your projects over a cup of tea!
That sounds lovely! xo
Love what your watching on tv…try A Million Little Things..a great show as well. I’m a fan of the neutral colors for the home as well but in our Indiana cold weather I fond I need to add a bit of navy or gold to “warm” the place up in winter. I’d love to know where you found your glass ornament on your table. I’ve been hunting some large ornaments for our tree that have old character to them but I haven’t found any so far.
Oh, I LOVE the look of navy with creams and neutrals – I think it looks so classic and rich. I found that ornament at Pottery Barn last year, here’s a direct link for you: https://rstyle.me/+A6JdIfj7m1xKo_Q6z_RBug. And thanks for the show suggestion, I can’t wait to check it out! Happy Holidays Lori!!!
Love your home, love it even more at Christmas!
Ah, thank you!!! Looking forward to sharing it with everyone through the holidays!
