My favourite reads from the week…
Oh my friends, it’s F-R-I-D-A-Y!!! I don’t know about you, but my goodness it’s been doozy of a week around here. Actually, if I’m being totally honest, it’s been a doozy of month. If you missed the big news, you can read all about it in this month’s currently post. It’s been a constant struggle to make time for all the things I need to do, but after a month of finding myself absolutely buried in work, I think I’m finally starting to dig my way out to a more manageable place (fingers crossed). And boy does it feel great to be back my friends! Though I haven’t had much time for any projects around the house lately, I have been dreaming and scheming about a few things I can’t wait to share! I’ve got far more ideas than time right now (what else is new?!), so I thought I’d start with something really quick & easy that I’ve been meaning to do for ages now. With such a demanding work schedule at the moment, I can’t promise anything just yet, but know that I’ve got the best of intentions to start sharing this new project with y’all next week.
In the mean time, here are my favourite reads from the week…
Head-over-heels for these beautiful DIY faux beams!
Wallpaper is most definitely having a moment (check out my favourite wallpaper patterns here). If you’re looking for some inspiration for places to put some wallpaper to work in your home, here are 5 great places to start.
Totally on board with this kitchen trend.
Taupe paint is making a comeback (although it never really left for me).
The balance between modern and traditional couldn’t be more perfect in this historic entryway makeover.
Who doesn’t need a few tips for navigating better small talk conversations.
The Instagram feed I just can’t get enough of lately.
Finally, here’s the book I’ve been curling up with this week.
Wishing you the most lovely weekend! Let me know if you have any fun plans in the comments below!
