Weekend Reading #206
A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.

Happy Friday my friends! How was your week? Ours flew right by as we got we got back into the swing of things after Spring Break. March was a whirlwind for us (and April likely will be too), but somehow we managed to get our closet finished up through it all. I shared a look at our DIY custom IKEA Pax closet on the blog earlier this week, since then we’ve moved in all of our clothing, furniture and decor. This space has been such a game changer already, I cannot wait to share the final reveal with you! This weekend, I’m hoping we can get our new bedroom furniture all moved in – I’ll be sure to share some sneak peeks on Insta Stories if we do. Brady’s also planning on starting the install of the new doors all around our second floor. Once we get all of the new doors in, we’ll be able to finish up the rest of the hardwoods through the bedrooms and hallway too. Slowly, but surely we’ll get this second floor finished up.
On the blog lately…

And now, here are my favourite reads from the week…
My favourite reads from the week…

The coziest cottage you ever did see.
“By middle school, many kids interest in learning falls off a cliff.” As a teacher and parent of a middle schooler, I found this article so interesting.
Renovations can so often rob a home of it’s character and charm. Loved this take on how to make a house look old again.
What do you think? Are islands on they way out?
Another gorgeous home tour from two of my absolute favourites.
47 great conversation starters.
The Instagram account I just can’t get enough of this week.

Finally, here’s the book I’ve been curling up with this week.
