Weekend Reading #185
A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.

Happy Friday my friends! How was your week? Mine was filled with yard work, wallpaper shopping and a whole lot of painting – so, all in all, pretty darn good. ๐ So far, I’ve managed to get the ceilings all painted out in our primary bedroom, bathroom, closet and Carson’s room. Painting ceilings isn’t my favourite thing to do (it’s such a pain in the neck!), so I’m happy to be done with that! While I went with a boring white for the ceilings in our bathroom and Carson’s bedroom, I decided to try something a little less expected in our primary bedroom and closet – I think this creamy beige will bring a bit of interest to our bedroom without overpowering things.

I’ve been staring at paint samples for our primary bedroom all week, slowly narrowing down my options now that I can finally see some samples up on the wall. With the ceilings painted out in a warm beige, I’m thinking I’d like to go with a warm, almost muddy looking white on the walls. I think I’ve settled on Swiss Coffee from Benjamin Moore (bottom right in the photo below) – it’s the colour we’re using for the top half of the walls in our ensuite (paired with Natural Cream on the panelling). Cannot wait to see these new walls all painted out!!!
