Weekend Reading #141

honey oak trim, black walls, fireplace

Well hello my friend! Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a wonderful week! We kept things pretty low-key around here this week after a very busy Easter weekend. We enjoyed a lot of delicious food and family time through the weekend, but after all the travelling and celebrating with everyone, we were definitely ready for some down time through this week. So, while we didn’t get a whole lot accomplished around the house, we did make time for all the things that mattered more than progress this past week. And, we might not have a ton of new projects to share this week, I did manage to finally put together some ideas that I’ve been thinking on the last few weeks – you catch up with it all below if you missed it.

On the blog this week…

Some great tips on how to style a cabinet.

I so enjoyed this satirical take on “how to choose the wrong paint colour!” I don’t know about you, but I can definitely relate to each and every one.

This DIY door hinge update was SO brilliant in its simplicity!

Hate your range hood? Me too! This DIY range hood slip cover totally blew my mind!

Can’t wait to whip up this sheet pan spicy ginger sesame beef & broccoli next week.

The Instagram feed I just can’t get enough of this week.

Finally, here’s the book I’ve been curling up with this week.

Wishing you the most lovely weekend! Let me know if you have any fun plans in the comments below!
