SHARING MY FAVOURITE READS FROM THE WEEK JUST IN TIME FOR THE WEEKEND.
Happy weekend my friends! Well, we officially made it through another week of Winter and, though it feels like we spent most of it bouncing between Winter + Spring here in northern Alberta, we’re one week closer to saying goodbye to all this snow and welcoming in those warmer temperatures for good.
Our house felt a little busier with an extra house guest this week – though it’s definitely a lot more work having an extra puppy around, Charley sure enjoyed getting to spend her days playing in the snow with her cousin. My run club also started up again this week, which just so happens to be one of my favourite parts of Spring. I can never muster the will to make myself run indoors much through the Winter (let alone brave the snow and cold temperatures outside!), but I’m always excited at the chance to jump back into the swing of things as Spring rolls in. I’m hoping to run another half marathon this Summer and, though I haven’t officially booked anything, I’m excited to start training.
After a very busy and adventure-filled few weeks, I’m really looking forward to slowing down a bit through this weekend. But first, here’s what I’ll be catching up with…
How gorgeous are these water colour olive branch printables!
A great guide to flower arranging for beginners.
Thinking I might need to whip up a batch of this honey blueberry quinoa granola to snack on this week.
Couldn’t agree more with these four reasons to stop chasing trends.
I’ve always wanted a plate rack just like this…
And how ahhhhmazing does this coconut lime tart look! I can’t wait to try this one!
And yes, I’m still working on this book.
Wishing you the most lovely weekend my friends!
