Happy Friday friends! I know that sounds silly, but somehow this week has felt SO long, yet zoomed by SO fast, all at the same time. Just me?
I know it’s already the second week of January, but this week felt like a proper fresh start to the brand new year. Life felt a little more normal this week with all of us heading back to work and school. And on top of that, thanks to my new Peloton Tread and the weather FINALLY warming up outside, it was easy to feel motivated to get some exercise each & every day this week. I think it’s fair to say that I’m totally obsessed with the Peloton workout classes – this may just be the honeymoon period talking, but I cannot wait to hop on there everyday to try something new. And, with the weather warming up to Spring-like temperatures outside this week, I couldn’t resist digging out my x-country skis for the first time this Winter. It’s one of my favourite ways to be active in the snow, soak in nature and when I’m really lucky, enjoy a visit with a friend.
Aside from clearing out some room in the basement for the new treadmill and bike, we didn’t really get a whole lot accomplished around the house this week. Brady and I are still working on putting together a list of the projects we’d like to tackle through the year ahead. Looking back at last year’s list definitely gave us a good place to start. I’m notorious for overestimating just how much we can take on, so I’m following Brady’s lead as we do our best to put together a more manageable and realistic list this year – hoping to finalize our list through the weekend and share with you all next week.
On the blog this week…
