A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.
Happy Friday my friends! How was your week? We had a very full one here – I feel like I’ve been saying that a lot lately, but between work, school and hockey lately it feels like there’s not a whole lot of time left over for things like renovating or decorating (or even cooking dinner some nights!). Usually we’re so much better about setting boundaries with our time (a lesson we will continue to learn the hard way it seems), but it turns out hockey and holiday festivities make for a very busy mix (that’s probably less shocking to everyone but us). Definitely not trying to complain here, we feel incredibly fortunate to have so many fun plans to look forward to, just wanted to put it out there that if you find yourself struggling to keep up with all the things lately, you’re not alone. 😉
Speaking of busy, we’ve got a full weekend of hockey ahead as Carson plays in his first tournament of the season. Luckily it’s relatively close to home, so hopefully we’ll be able to sneak in a bit of hockey-free time in there too. Brady’s continued to chip away at our ensuite when he can, here’s hoping we’ve got some more progress to share with you soon! In the mean time, keep an eye on my Insta stories for all sorts of real time sneak peeks.

And now, here are my favourite reads from this week…
Weekend Reading
While I firmly believe that Christmas should look like whatever feels best for you, this post about Christmas trends was a super fun read.
Speaking of holiday trends – I’m not sure I agree with this take on do’s and don’ts when decorating for the holidays. If Christmas isn’t about surrounding yourself with feelings of cozy nostalgia and things that make you happy, I don’t know what is. I’d love to hear your thoughts about this!
Okay, this scarf tying hack is pretty genius.
While we’re on the topic of genius – how brilliant is this suitcase?!
These DIY decoupage ornaments turned out so beautifully.
Erin always creates the most beautiful mantel garlands and this year’s version is no exception.
Loved everything about this take on downsizing.
When Studio McGee talks 2024 design trends and you know I’m listening!
Soaking up every inch of this beautiful renovation.
Shared this Gingerbread Chai Brulee Latte in this week’s Newsletter, but it’s too good not to share again. (Subscribe here if you missed it).
And finally, here’s the Insta feed I can’t stop scrolling this week…
Wishing you the most lovely weekend! Let me know if you have any fun plans in the comments below!
