Happy Friday friends! How was your week? Ours flew by SO quickly around here, as busy ones tend to do of course.
I managed to finish up the last of the ceilings on our main floor this week and boy does it feel good to have that behind me. Painting ceilings is one of my least favourite jobs – not only do end up totally covered in paint, but on top of that, the change always feels so subtle it’s hardly even noticeable. Honestly, it’s one of those things you only notice when it’s NOT done. It’s hands down the least satisfying of all paint jobs, a literal pain in the neck that I’m so glad to be done with (for now anyway).
I also spent far too much time over-thinking our window treatments and what exactly I wanted to order up for the house right now. Styles, fabrics, roman shades or curtains? My brain still hurts just writing about it. BUT, I think I’ve finally landed on a place to start at least. In fact, I’m popping into the city today to finally get the ball rolling on it all. I cannot wait to share all the details with you soon, but for now, here’s a little sneak peek at what I’m thinking for our study!
On the blog lately…
