A simple step-by-step guide to creating your own Winter chalkboard art.
Hello friends! I hope you enjoyed the most wonderful Christmas with your families! This week will be all about soaking up as many minutes as we can with our family and friends with some tobogganing, skiing, hot chocolate and of course snacking on far too many sweets.
Honestly friends, it’s hard to believe we’re just a few short days from a brand new year ahead! Though I plan to stretch the celebration as long as I possibly can, it won’t be long before we’re packing away all of those beautiful Christmas decorations for another year.
Obviously, this also means that it’ll be time again to change up the artwork on the chalkboard wall in our farmhouse style family room.
One of my very favourite parts of our new family room space is this big old vintage green chalkboard wall (you can find the tutorial for it here)! That bold green just brings so much personality to the space and I’ve had so much fun changing out the artwork and lettering on it as often as can!
I used to think that filling a chalkboard with pretty artwork and fancy lettering was beyond my artistic abilities (or lack there of), but, with a bit of trial and error mind you, I’ve learned that’s it’s actually quite simple if you just break it down a bit!
I can’t wait to show you how easy this snowy scene was to create!
Just pop on over to LollyJane to see the full step-by-step tutorial.
But, before you go, I’d absolutely love for you to pop over to see the rest of our farmhouse family room space!
Wishing you SUCH a lovely day!
Love the chalkboard idea! And that sign in your living room is so pretty!
Happy New Year to you friend!
