Oh, So Cozy {Fall Fireplace}

Well my friends, it’s a cloudy, rainy, gloomy Friday here in the Kootenays. But, I’m totally okay with that. In fact, I’d even say I’m happy about it! We’ve had sun and warm temperatures for weeks now and to be honest, I was craving a rainy day to hole up in our house in front of the fire. It’s been one of those stay our pj’s, eat breakfast on the couch, cuddle under a blanket sort of mornings for Carson and I (though, to make up for it we’ll be heading to the swimming pool this afternoon!). Sometimes you just need a lazy morning like this, you know?

I was pretty happy that I had chosen to stay up late last night getting our Fall fireplace put together to share with y’all today because it meant that this morning, I got to just kick back and enjoy it all on this rainy day with my favorite little man!!!

Those net wrapped bottles on the left were SUCH an easy DIY – stay tuned for that tutorial coming soon!!! And that beautiful pumpkin sitting right next to them was an awesome score from Target!

On the other side I added a simple lantern that I found at Michaels for 50% off – another fab score!

My absolute favorite part is the vintage window hanging right in the middle!

I added a simple DIY fall wreath using some leftover flowers from my shabby-chic pumpkins.

I added some huge, rustic lanterns to the hearth and filled them with LED candles that turn on with the press of a button from a handy remote! BRILLIANT, right?!
