I want to make sure y’all are getting just how big this really is …
10 Minute Decorating ideas, the first Wednesday of each and every month, with THE MOST ahhhhhmazing group of bloggers – excited yet?!
We’ll be kicking things off today with our Fall themed 10 Minute Decorating projects and I cannot wait to share this simple little DIY Fall Wreath!
I started with a plain old grapevine wreath (I heart this one) and a bit of felt (I stuck with neutral colours here).
So, I started making my own felt flowers by cutting 4″(ish) circles of felt into spirals. Wonky, imperfect, little spirals. I experimented by varying the size of circle I stared with and the width of the spirals I was cutting, which gave me a ton of variation to my flowers. Just what I was looking for! With my trusty hot glue gun by my side, I began winding up my spirals beginning from the outside and working my way in, which left me with a perfect little centre circle (or oval) to glue everything down to. With a strip of hot glue across the middle, these pretty little flowers were ready to go.
Another dab of hot glue later to attach a few flowers to my wreath and I had had myself the easiest Fall Wreath ever!
To hang it, I simply strung a length of ribbon around the top – always my favourite way to hang a wreath!
That’s it my friends! Easy-peasy!
I think it looks SO lovely hanging on my Cozy Fall Fireplace!
Now, I cannot wait to see what everyone else came up with for this month’s 10 Minute Decorating!
