Sharing my favourite reads from the week just in time for the weekend.
Hello friends! How are you? It’s hard to believe we’ve been staying home for eight whole weeks now. I feel like we’ve been settling into this new normal these past few weeks, and though we’re still missing so much about the old normal, we’ve found a lot of wonderful through all of this too.
We’ve been making time for all of our favourite things – reading, bike rides, working in the garden and tackling a few projects around the house – living more slowly, more purposefully, yet getting more done than ever before. Honestly, I’m not sure our lives have ever felt more balanced.
In case you’re curious, I shared all about what we’ve been up to lately in this month’s Currently post – including how we celebrated a socially distanced birthday for Carson and some major projects we’ve been planning.
And now, with the house quiet while I sip my morning coffee, here’s what I’ll be catching up with this weekend…
Skillet strawberry bourbon cobbler with layered cream cheese biscuits – words can’t express how excited I am to try this!
Swooning over every details of this amazing home renovation from the Southwest of France!
This will be our third year of planting our own vegetable garden, but it was our first starting seeds indoors. This guide was such a huge help getting us started.
Who doesn’t need 8 ways to boost your mood during lock down?
I’m obsessed with this gorgeous Instagram feed.
Do you know how to properly clean your dryer?
28 beautiful ideas to decorate over a bed.
Have you been thinking about adding wallpaper to your home? Here’s a great guide about how to navigate wallpaper shopping.
Have you tried making whipped coffee yet? Thinking this banana coconut latte with whipped coffee sounds pretty amazing!
And of course, my latest read (which just so happens to be one of the best books I’ve read in a long time! Highly recommend!
Wishing you the most lovely weekend my friends!
