A quick little update & my favourite reads from the week.
Happy Friday my friends! It’s been far too long since I’ve carved out the time to chat with you all! Between work, school, and all things Christmas, we’ve been keeping pretty busy around here – it’s honestly felt impossible to keep up with it all. But, amongst all the busy, we’ve been making sure to soak up all of the magic the Christmas season has to offer. Brady and Carson have snuck away to the mountains to enjoy a few days of skiing together and last weekend, we took a break from our renovations to enjoy a night away with friends in the city, enjoying some amazing meals together, taking in A Christmas Carol play and our favourite part, late night drinks and dessert afterwards. We look forward to this trip each and every holiday season, not only is it a special night in the city together, but it always seems to be just the break we need to soak up some holiday fun.
Despite all of our time away lately, we continue to move closer to that finish line for our renovations each and every day it seems. We’re SO darn close now! I’m anticipating we’ll spend our first nights in our new bedroom this weekend and our bathroom and closet aren’t too far behind. I cannot wait to share it with you all, but for now, you’ll have to keep an eye out on Instagram for all sorts of sneak peeks behind the scenes.
