The easiest way to stop curtain rings from catching on your curtain rod.
Do your curtain rings glide smoothly from one end of your curtain rod to the other, or do they get caught up somewhere along the way – maybe on that pesky bump that your adjustable curtain rod makes at the joint between pieces? I can’t be the only one with this annoying problem. Unless you’ve gone with a custom cut curtain rod, you’r likely struggling to open & close your curtains too.
The video below might look like a dramatic infomercial to you, but it was our reality every time we tried to close the curtains in our dining room. It was SO annoying, we really just stopped using them – that is, until I discovered this – a magical little roll of tape that promised to fix our curtain catching problems in just minutes. I admit, I was skeptical, but figured it was worth a try.
I followed the simple instructions, cleaning our curtain rod with to provided alcohol wipe and then, removing the backing as I went, I simply stuck the thick, clear tape to the top of our curtain rod. It was SO easy, I was done in just minutes.
I tested it out right away and couldn’t believe the difference this little roll of tape had made. It was like magic! Instead of struggling to pull our curtains over the the little jump in our extension rod, one curtain ring at a time, I could pull them closed in one smooth swipe, with no effort at all! I was SO amazed, I even created my first reel on instagram to share it!
I know I’m not the only one out there struggling to open and close our curtains and this was far too easy a fix not to share. I wish I’d known about it sooner – this simple little fix would have saved us years of feeling annoyed every single time we tried to open and close our curtains!
This brilliant tape might be simple, but boy, it’s sure made our lives easier! Even more, not only does it make curtain rings glide more smoothly across a curtain rod, but it makes them glide more quietly too. And, best of all it does it all without you even knowing it’s there. Honestly, where has this tape been all my life and how did I not know about this sooner?!
