You’ll never believe how simple and inexpensive this gorgeous DIY 3 tier tray was to make!
Y’all know the mess we’ve gotten ourselves into with this One Room Challenge (if you don’t, you can read more about it all here). Though I have no doubt it will all be worth it in the end, making over one room in just six weeks is no small feat.
Getting ourselves in waaaaaaay over our heads this time around hasn’t left a lot of time for crafting (not to mention other luxuries like sleeping or eating).
Fortunately, this DIY 3-tier tray I’m sharing today was super quick and easy to whip up! Just pop on over to AKA Design for the full tutorial.
Wishing you SUCH a lovely day!
Gorgeous! But the link isn’t working to AKA Design! I will check back again.
Thanks! Can’t wait to see how this is done! Also hoping you’ll post about where to get the bits and pieces.
SO sorry, there was a mix up in the scheduling – it will be up first thing tomorrow! And there are links to everything you’ll need in the post 🙂 Thanks so much Faye!
I’m having the same problem with finding the tutorial at AKA Design.
Thanks!
I’m so, so sorry Sheila! There was a bit of a mix up with the scheduling, but the post is set to go live on AKA Design first thing tomorrow, so the link should be working then. Again, so sorry for the confusion!!!
It’s beautiful, Kristi!! Love the galvanized trays!
Thank you SO, SO much Kendra!!! xo
The 3 tier tray is great, could you tell me the exact metal trays you used, the ones in the link are a bit different. Thank you again for such a fun project!
Thanks so much Julie! I actually scooped up the trays at a small, local shop in town. Is it the distressed metal look you like about them? You could always grab some plain silver tart trays and then distress them with a bit of dark stain maybe to add that rustic patina. Sorry I can’t be more help, but I’m sure you’ll find some you love!
Hi Kristi! I’m new to your site and love it. And speaking of loving something, gosh I love the three tiered tray. I’m going to visit AKA Design to see the process of making it. Thanks so much for sharing!
Well thank you Joanne! I’m thrilled to hear that you love it!!!
Love the trays. Can’t wait to see how you made it! Thanks for sharing and good luck with your bathroom.
Thank you so, so much Debbie!!!
Love the trays and the tutorial and would love to make one for myself and another for my daughter (because she loves the trays too). But where did you get the candlesticks from? I’m having a hard time locating some, without it costing an arm and leg to bring them up from the U.S.
Thanks Donna, I’m so happy you love it! I picked up the candlesticks, the feet and the top finial at Michaels in the woodworking section. The trays were from a local home decor shop, but you shouldn’t have any problems finding a few tart trays at most home/ kitchen stores. Hope this helps!
I need 10 of these! Absolutely adorable!
Awwww, thanks Kim! I’m so happy you loved it!
