Tour our newly renovated farmhouse style kitchen, including all the design details, organization ideas + product sources.

Okay friends, this kitchen reveal has been a loooooong time coming. A whole year and a half in the making in fact.
To be fair, it was a pretty long list of work that needed to be done (check out all the before photos and my design plans for this space here).

And, we did do almost all of it ourselves.
Progress felt frustratingly slow (read more about that here), and often, we felt stuck in the middle of a never-ending renovation.
Thankfully though, it was totally worth the wait. After three long years of planning out my dream kitchen space and more than a year and a half making those dreams come to life, I’m SO excited to take y’all on a tour of our new farmhouse kitchen!

Not only does our new kitchen space look so much lighter + brighter, but, more importantly, it functions SO much better for our family as well! There’s truly a spot for everything in this space, which helps to keep everything perfectly organized and my kitchen counters clear. We’ve got appliances to work just the way they should (a pretty major upgrade from what was here previously!) and best of all, the open concept means that I can be cooking away in the kitchen while still enjoying time with my family + friends!

So join me as I walk you through our new farmhouse kitchen space, including all of the organization hacks and design details.

Good morning. Looks awesome. Can you share where you purchased the spice shelves for your cabinet door? Thank you.
Thanks so much Tracy! Here’s a link to the spice racks we have mounted in our cupboard: https://amzn.to/2VKRuXq.
Your kitchen is beautiful Kristi and I’m sure it’s a joy to prepare meals there for your loved ones 🙂
Thank you so, so much Kendra! It’s such a pleasure to cook in now, I couldn’t be happier with how it all came together!
Hey Kristi,
You did an amazing job with your renovation. It was clearly worth the long process! We get a ton of people asking us for additional design ideas for their farmhouse sinks and this article is perfect.
I will gladly point folks in your direction.
Thank you!
Kyle from Annie & Oak
Thank you so, so much Kyle!
Absolutely gorgeous! I am curious about your vent hood as I am thinking of adding one to our kitchen. Was this a DIY or something else? You do such great projects and hoping you can add a tutorial if you built it.
Thank you so much Susan! I’m so happy you enjoy following along with our projects! We actually had our range hood and cabinetry built by a local cabinet maker, so unfortunately I don’t have a tutorial to share. I have seen a ton of great tutorials floating around pinterest though, so maybe you can find something similar there? Thanks again!
I love how your kitchen turned out! That range hood is exactly what I want in my kitchen! So gorgeous!
Thanks so much Kate! I’m thrilled you love it as much as we do!
Love your hickory counter tops. How do you care for them and are you happy with that choice so far?
Thanks Stephanie! They sure bring a lot of warmth to our kitchen space. I’ve been really happy with them so far and would totally do it again – I coated them with a product called Monocoat to seal them and it’s held up perfectly so far.
This came together just beautifully! The one thing I specifically was looking to find was your dining room chairs, do you know where those came from or the brand name? Kitchen renovations are always hard especially when you have to live in the home but in the end this is just a tremendous wow!
Thank you so much Shirley! We found our dining set at The Brick, it’s called Hancock Park. Hope that helps and thanks again for the kind words about our renovation!
