Super cute AND functional, this rustic DIY twine dispenser is full of farmhouse charm and takes just minutes to whip up!
Welcome to another #MonthlyDIYChallenge my friends! Y’all know how much fun I have teaming up with my talented bloggy friends the first Wednesday of each month to see the different ideas we can come up with from the very same starting point!
This month we’re getting crafty with {wooden dowels} and I cannot wait to see what everyone came up with!
But first, I’m so excited to share this sweet little twine dispenser I whipped up…
I started with a simple wooden dowel and a bit of floral wire.
After cutting my dowel down to size (just slightly bigger than my spool of twine), I wrapped my floral wire around one end of my dowel, using a pair of pliers to twist it up nice and tight. Then, after popping on my spool of twine, I did the same with the other end, wrapping the end of my length of wire around the other side of my wooden dowel.
Finally, I twisted a little loop in the middle of my wire to create a little hanger.
Of course, I couldn’t help finishing it off with a sweet little bow…
These rustic little twine dispensers are the perfect way to keep some of my favourite strings and ribbons at the ready and they look so darn sweet while they’re doing it!
They’ve been the perfect addition to this farmhouse style memo board in my craft room!
Now, don’t forget to check out the fabulous projects that my bloggy friends created for this month’s challenge too!
Wishing you SUCH a lovely day!
